As most of you probably know, we at Hamil Heights have been bringing our community together for almost 3 years now.
This is a knew way of communicating for us and will enable us to give you updates far more quickly.
The flats are looking very smart of late.We have had bow topped perimeter fencing, which although tidy, needed a more organic appearance. We decided therefore to have Laurel trees planted inside the railings and now the perimeter is lush and green. Also, the planted Laurels will provide privacy to any residents wanting to sit out and enjoy the sunĀ (when it does go back to feeling like summer again).
We have recently hung 6 hanging baskets to the outside of the flats and these are extremely pretty and add a much needed splash of colour to our environment.
We are awaiting another composter, given that our first one was stolen. We expect to take delivery of the new composter in the next week or two.We have been told that the new one will be more static, possibly one that can be set into the ground.
So,things are on the up.As always,we work together as a team and also with many local council officers and outside agencies to improve the lives of our residents. We hope that our flats are considered a great place to live and that everybody feels safe and above all we hope that everybody feels included.
